Cycle Power Testing

In triathlon the bike leg is the longest aspect and as such has a huge impact on performance. Professional triathletes and cyclists know the benefit of power testing and the profound effect it has on their training. A power meter which measures the force you exert on the pedals and how fast you pedal is used to determine your Maximal Aerobic Power (MAP) and Functional Threshold Power (FTP) and can show you where gains can be made and where weaknesses exist in your biking performance.

From your FTP you can accurately define training zones to ensure that  your training is both specific to your event/distance and creates desirable physiological changes for improved performance.
